Server-authoritative 12-hour sessions Constant baseline Anti-abuse first Privacy & compliance

1) Abstract

Nominal Network is a mobile-first earning system where users start 12-hour sessions with one button. Referral and in-app boosts can increase the effective rate. No expensive rigs are required; any modern smartphone can participate. The experience is multilingual, device-light, and governed by server time.

  • User-friendly: Simple flows, multilingual UI.
  • Constant baseline: We do not plan to reduce the baseline rate after listing.
  • Engagement loops: Daily tasks, streaks, and seasonal events designed for retention (no financial promises).
  • Device-light: Server validates sessions; device handles UI and notifications.
  • Security-minded: Encrypted transport, strict rules, and anti-abuse controls.

Terminology: “Cloud mining” here does not mean renting PoW/PoS hash power. We use a server-authoritative session model that mints off-chain points which may later convert to NC under announced rules.

2) Problem & Value Proposition

Problem. Traditional crypto mining demands high CAPEX, complex setup, and power usage—limiting access.

Value. Single-tap sessions accrue off-chain points at a stable baseline rate, optionally augmented by referrals, boosts, and engagement rewards. The device is not taxed; server logic enforces timing, settlement, and fairness.

3) Product: Flow & Mechanics

3.1 Basic Flow (Server-Authoritative)

  1. Start: User taps Start Mining.
  2. Session: Server records a 12-hour session start timestamp.
  3. Accrual: Points accrue under server rules (device clock is not trusted).
  4. Settlement: At completion, server atomically adds earned points. (No duplicate claims.)
  5. Notification: Optional reminders to restart.

3.2 Session Integrity

  • Server time: Session duration and eligibility are validated on the backend.
  • Idempotency: Settlement is designed to be safe against repeated taps/retries.
  • No heavy mining: The app does not perform PoW hashing; it is participation-based.

3.3 Rate Model

  • Constant baseline for all users; no planned reduction post-listing.
  • Boosts as time-bounded multipliers (limited, monitored, and abuse-protected).
  • Referrals with anti-spam safeguards and quality checks.

3.4 Progression & Experience (Retention Without Promises)

  • Element progression: Air → Water → Earth → Fire themes and visual upgrades tied to level/activity.
  • Daily tasks & streaks: Simple goals that reward consistent participation.
  • Seasonal events: Limited-time events (e.g., New Year) with cosmetic rewards and community missions.
  • Lucky Wheel (optional): A chance-based in-app feature for engagement rewards; rate limits and fairness rules apply.

3.5 Device Impact

  • No heavy CPU/GPU workloads.
  • Battery-friendly UI; backend controls session correctness.

4) Economy & Token Design (Draft)

4.1 Unit & Positioning

Today’s earnings are off-chain points. The NC token is planned; conversion rules and timing will be announced.

4.2 Total Supply (Draft)

Total supply: 2.5 billion NC.

4.3 Distribution Ranges (Draft)

  • Community Mining & Rewards: 50–60%
  • Ecosystem & Developer Incentives: 10–20%
  • Team & Advisors (Vesting): 8–12%
  • Liquidity & Exchange Partnerships: 5–10%
  • Marketing & Growth: 5–10%
  • Reserve & Treasury: 3–7%

No 1:1 guarantee: Conversion may be proportional, considering pool allocation, participation duration, activity signals, anti-abuse cleans, and supply constraints.

4.4 Fair Allocation Principles (Draft)

  • Sybil resistance: Multi-account attempts can be filtered and invalidated.
  • Quality signals: Legit participation, retention, and verified actions may influence allocation.
  • Transparency: Final rules will be published before conversion windows.

4.5 Monetization

  • Ads and partnerships may support the ecosystem.
  • Optional boosts/cosmetics enhance experience—not a financial promise.

5) Tech Stack & Architecture

  • Client (Flutter/Dart): i18n, theming, low memory footprint, performance profiling.
  • Backend (GCP/Firebase): Functions Gen2, Firestore (server timestamps, TTL), Cloud Tasks/Pub/Sub, Remote Config, FCM.
  • Ads & Verification: AdMob (rewarded/interstitial/banner), optional SSV plan with signatures.
  • Security: App Check, Play Integrity/DeviceCheck, rate limiting, IP/device fingerprinting, anomaly detection.
  • Observability: Logging, Error Reporting, custom metrics, BigQuery exports; alerting.
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, staged channels (internal/closed/beta/prod), controlled rollouts.
  • Privacy & Compliance: TLS, data minimization, consent flows and CMP (where required).

5.1 Anti-Abuse Engineering (Draft)

  • Server-side rules: Session validation, idempotent settlement, replay protection.
  • Risk scoring: Device integrity signals, anomaly patterns, referral graph checks.
  • Progressive enforcement: Warnings → cooldowns → suspensions → bans (with appeal path).

6) Security, Privacy & Encryption

  • Transport: TLS-encrypted traffic.
  • Access control: Firestore rules + function validation.
  • Data minimization: Only what’s necessary; GDPR/KVKK principles.
  • Incident handling: Freeze/suspend on abuse; appeal process with auditable logs.

7) Fairness, Anti-Abuse & Single-Account Policy

  • 1 Person = 1 Account. Multi-accounting is prohibited.
  • Device/session validation: Fingerprints, IP/DNS patterns, anomaly scoring.
  • Automation/emulator controls: Root/emulator checks; rapid-tap patterns flagged.
  • Referral anti-spam: Self-referrals, loops, and farms nullified.
  • Sanctions: Warnings → temporary suspension → permanent bans; invalidation for abuse-gained balances.

Fairness is enforced to protect real users. Enforcement actions may reduce or invalidate balances obtained through abuse.

8) Community & Channels

  • X (Twitter): Official updates, releases, and roadmap notes.
  • Telegram: Community chat, announcements, and moderation support.
  • Store Listing: Public release notes and update transparency.

Official links will be included in the final version.

10) Compliance, KYC/AML & Regional Policies

  • KYC (Pre-Listing): May be required before listing, subject to regional availability. Supported regions and constraints will be announced.
  • AML: Controls for suspicious activity and enforcement where applicable.
  • GDPR/KVKK: Lawful basis, consent, access/erasure, data minimization.
  • Store Policies: Communications and ads must comply with platform rules.

Nominal Network makes no income guarantees; returns, prices, and liquidity are not promised.

11) Risk Disclosure (Summary)

  • Technical: Software defects, outages, adversarial attacks.
  • Regulatory: Regional restrictions and changing rules.
  • Market: Token price volatility and liquidity constraints.
  • Operational: Abuse detection may invalidate balances obtained improperly.

12) FAQ (Short)

Do I need to keep the phone on for 12 hours? No. Sessions and accrual are enforced by the server; the device mostly starts sessions and shows the UI.

Can I claim points early (before 12 hours)? The intended model settles on completion; partial settlement rules (if any) would be explicitly announced.

Are points 1:1 with NC? No guarantee. Conversion is proportional and rule-based.

Why KYC? To meet regulatory expectations and promote fairness before listing (region-dependent).

Will the baseline rate drop after listing? Not planned. Sustainability relies on pool allocation, monetization, and distribution rules.
